Happy New Year Everybody!

Today’s the start of a new year.  A time for New Year Resolutions.  A chance to look back on the year that was and a time to plan for the year ahead.

I’m already looking at CUP and seeing design sheets I want to buy to make up into cards this month.  With a niece, four nephews ranging from four to twenty two, and a sister, all having birthdays before mid-march, I’m looking for designs suitable for making cards for them all that they won’t already have seen when looking through my gallery of cards -> here.   Some want money so I’ll probably be looking through the Money Wallet section on CUP -> here – as well.

After all the cold weather, snow and ice of the last few weeks I’m sure many of us are already looking forward to spring time, so for this blog post I’ve picked a few cards with a look of spring about them to highlight.

Click through on the links below the card images to see the design sheets I used to create each card.

1A walk through Bluebell Woods  2Daffodil Cutaway Card  3ittle Chick Quick Card with Pyramage  4BLUE TIT ON AN APPLE BLOSSOM TREE BRANCH  5Lakeland Lamb

  1. A walk through Bluebell Woods by Helen Williams (This design sheet has straight edge cutting so is easy to make for people with manual dexterity problems).
  2. Daffodil Cutaway Card Sheet 1 by Sarah Edwards (With Sheet 2 this card is made by printing back to back on a sheet and simply straight edge cutting.)
  3. Little Chick Quick Card with Pyramage by Carol Clarke (An easy to cut pyramage sheet with a little gift of a bookmark as well.)
  4. BLUE TIT ON AN APPLE BLOSSOM TREE BRANCH by Elaine Sheldrake (A straight cut side stacker with a few extra elements for you to use if you want to.)
  5. Lakeland Lamb by Sheila Wilks (A lovely topper with a backing sheet and some other elements to make a quick card.)

I hope all who read this little blog of mine have a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!
