This is my second post showing you these really handy design sheets where the whole card base, together with extra layers in some cases, are all on one sheet, so if you can print onto card you don’t need to go looking for any other card to stick your design to. My first in this series of posts can be seen – here.
This first batch are small cards that can be used as gift tags or little cards. They come with envelopes on the sheet as well. So cute, and come for all sorts of occasions from birthdays to Christmas. All this first batch were designed by Ann-marie Vaux and the toppers are Pointy Stacker style, the stacker layers being bowed inwards rather than being straight but it’s all very easy to cut out. There are different styles of layer embellishments available in the AIO series by this designer. If you click – here – to go to Ann-marie’s page on CUP and do a search for “AIO” you’ll see what’s available.

- Church Snow Mini Card Envelope Pointy Stacker AIO
- The Tree Snow Mini Card Envelope Pointy Stacker AIO
This group of cards are all of different shaped to the standard square or rectangular cards.
- Love Kimono 8 Shaped Card by Karen Adair (Looks different but there’s no intricate cutting. It’s all straight other than the round emblem on the belt.)
- New Home House Shaped Card by Michael Tullio (A very straightforward card to make but you can embellish it up as you wish.)
- Feather Butterfly Fancy Octagon Shaped Card 6 by Anna Babajanyan (Another straightforward card shape to cut out. This time I embellished with gloss and faux gems.)
- Weres My Lippy? by Deborah Davies (The right hand edge of this card has a bit of ins and outs to cut out, as do the added layers of make-up to decoupage on, but none of it is very intricate.)
- Flutter By Butterfly – Cut & Fold Over The Side Card by Elaine Sheldrake (Another card where the right hand edge has a bit of ins and outs cutting but this time it’s on the diagonal.)
Some easy to make, but different looking, Over the Edge cards all with a spiral pyramid. All these were designed by Carol Clark. There’s nothing but straight edge cutting involved and just these four cards covers children’s birthdays, Mother’s Day, Valentines Day, and Christmas, and Carol has many more up on the craftsUprint site. Just go to her page and do a search for “over the edge”.

Some CUP News
The entries are already being uploaded for the “June 2011 Female Birthday Competition”. You can see the ones already uploaded by clicking – here. The requirement is to – make any Female Birthday Themed card using any download from Craftsuprint! With such a huge number of sheets available for download from CUP, many suitable for making birthday cards for females, from the youngest 1 year old to somebody hitting their 100 years old, I’m having a problem deciding which sheet or sheets to go for, and what style of card to make. As the entry will be open until 24th June I do have a bit of time to think it over, but I don’t like leaving things until the last minute as there’s no guarantee of good weather and nice sunlight to take the photo if I leave it until the last couple of days. Thinking cap on I think!
You can see the cards Ive made using design sheets from CUP in my Crafter Showcase Area on Craftsuprint.com – here
(Just scroll down past the top boxes to see the cards.)
