CUP Designer – Carol Clarke (3rd post)

As I said in my last blog post (which you can see by clicking here), it was announced in the mailer that was sent out on the 8th that the CUP Premier Designer Carol Clarke has gone “Titanium” – the first CUP designer to do so.  This means that Carol has now sold over 50,000 sheets and kits on the craftsUprint site, which is a huge achievement.

As I also said in my last blog post, I’ve got around 60 sheets designed by Carol, some of which I’ve already highlighted in my first and second posts showing cards I’d made using her designs (1st post – here; 2nd post – here).  With Carol reaching the Titanium level as a design creator/seller I  thought that now would be an opportune time to highlight a few more of the designs she’s created.  Please click on the links given below each batch of cards to go and see the design sheet/insert/background I used to make these ten cards.

1Sweet Little Lamb Fold Back Card with Decoupage  2Men’s DIY Quick Card with Circular Side Stacker Topper  3Flowers and Pearls Cut and Fold Card  4Little Bunny Cut and Fold Quick Card  5Rosie’s Balloons Quick Card with Wavy Spiral Side Stacker

  3. Flowers and Pearls Cut and Fold Card
  4. Little Bunny Cut and Fold Quick Card
  5. Rosie’s Balloons Quick Card with Wavy Spiral Side Stacker

I’ve used two different card fronts/inserts, and a background created by Carol when making this next batch of cards.

1Square ‘Gold Metallic Frame’ Card Front or insert  2Luscious Berries A5 Card Front or insert  3Fluttery Butterfly Quick Card with Fan Pyramage Topper  4Greetings, Lace and Pearls matching Backing Paper  5Wedding Cake Quick card with Shell Edged Corner side stacker

The only one of these ten cards with any sort of intricate cutting is the first one, Sweet Little Lamb, as there are a few pieces of the lamb to cut out and decoupage, but this isn’t particularly difficult.

Update from CUP Land

Over 50 entries have now been uploaded to the “June 2011 Female Birthday Competition” card gallery.   There’s still time to get yours made and uploaded if you want to enter.  The rules are simple “Make any Female Birthday Themed card using any download from Craftsuprint! Entry will be open until 24th June and the winner will be announced on July 1st.”  I finished making my entry last night, and what’s it like out there today? – rain! – just when I wanted nice bright sunshine to take my photo of the card to upload it.  I hope it brightens up later on or tomorrow.  Don’t like waiting for too long to take my photo just in case it get’s damaged.

The other things that are still ongoing on the CUP site include:

Crafty Bob’s Bingo” – we are currently playing for a House in game 42

Crafty Bob Treasure Hunt” – with the “Bob Pot” that goes to the person who finds Crafty Bob waving currently standing at over £80.

Crafty Bob’s Tombola” – with every order from craftsUprint getting an entry into the tombola, and every entry into the tombola winning a price you can be sure of getting something from the range of prices that goes from a Free Download to a £20 Gift Voucher.

You can see the cards I’ve made using design sheets from CUP in my “Crafter Showcase Area” on Craftsuprint.com – here
