Father’s Day and and Update From CUP

Father’s Day

Hope nobody’s forgotten that it’s Father’s Day tomorrow – 19th June – at least it is in the UK, I know it’s not all around the world.  If anybody still hasn’t got their card made, or gets a sudden last minute request for a card, then you may like to take a look at the blog post I made previously about Father’s Day Cards, which you can see by clicking -> here.

I’d like to say a
Happy Father’s Day

to all the fathers out there who read this.
Hope your nearest and dearest have remembered to get some special treat for the day.

This is the outside and inside of the card I made for my father:

For anybody who’s interested, these are the sheets and kits I used to make my card:

Main background images, decoupage character, garden plants & pots, etc. : From kit – cup138046_437 – Gardening_Allotment Dude Kit
“Pocket Handkerchief Lawn” area : From sheet – cup8717 – Someplace Backing Paper 2
Deckchair : From sheet – cup72148_13 – Floating Deckchair

And my description of how I made it can be seen by clicking -> here.

Although I used these items for a Father’s Day card don’t forget that they can be used for lots of different occasions – all the items are great items to have in your digital craft library.

Update from CUP Land

A copy of the mailer that was sent out yesterday (17th June 2011) can be seen -> here.

As usual there are lots of lovely designs being highlighted, but there is other content that may be of interest to you as well.

If you know somebody who’s a crafter/cardmaker and are struggling to think of a gift to give them, then why not consider a “craftsUprint Gift Voucher“.  They come in amounts as low as £5, then in various other amounts up to £50. When you buy a Gift Voucher you will receive a selection of FREE themed Gift Wallets to put your voucher in. Themes include, Birthday, Wedding, Christmas, Male & Floral.  These wallets having been designed by CUP’s Titanium Designer Carol Clarke (who you may remember I did a blog post highlighting some of her work here last weekend).

You can see the cards I’ve made using design sheets from CUP in my “Crafter Showcase Area” on Craftsuprint.com – here
(Just scroll down past the top boxes to see the cards.)
