Over the last week or so I’ve made three items using beads.
The first is a bracelet on beading elastic using two types of beads.
The second is a bookmark with beads threaded onto beading wire to make a shape of a cross which is then hung from a chain from the bookmark.
The third item is a key-chain with beads threaded onto beading wire in the shape of the numbers one and eighteen and dangled from the keyring using jump rings.
If you click on each of the thumbnails above you’ll get taken to a larger version of the images for a better look at the items.
craftsINprint at Discounted Price – If you read my post of the 28th August – here – you’d have seen me say that theres a short piece about me, together with an example of one of the cards Ive made, in issue 3 of the craftsINprint magazine that comes with Complete Cardmaking 32. If you haven’t already got hold of your copy, CUP have now got a very special offer. CUP Newsletter Mailer – For those of you with a CraftROBO or a Silhouette cutting machine the latest issue of the mailer sent out regularly by the CUP team is a must read item. The “New From” feature shows several of Tina Fitch‘s “Swinging Cards” where a piece of the card is suspended and swings when the card is moved. Tina has cutting files in several formats available on the CUP site – GSD, SVG, Studio – and she also has files for hand cutting as well. The second feature of interest to those with cutting machines is a CUP TV episode by Clive Couter, where Clive gives some ideas of how to embellish cards and embellishments cut using his designs by using embossing powder. Of course, there are other bits of news and designs being displayed that will be of interest to those without a cutting machine as well, so don’t think you are being left out if you don’t have such a machine. Please click – here – to see the 2nd September mailer.
