One Card, Knitting, and craftsUprint

Well, I was right that I’d pay for making a batch of cards all together on Wednesday.  Arms and hands have been painful since, but are easing up now.  Haven’t managed a lot of crafting though.  Only one card with its insert.  I also took the Loom Extenders out from my Knitting Board and have started on knitting another Christmas gift.Cards:

This is the card and insert.  The paper ribbon and round toppers were not too difficult to cut out.  The silver mirror board mats and the greetings banner were bought in as die-cut elements, so there wasn’t anything really difficult or intricate required to make this card.  The paper ribbon and inside topper were stuck directly to their location, but 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape was used to stick the other pieces in place.  Click on the thumbnails to see larger versions of the photos, and then click your browsers Back button to get back here.

Both the outside and the insert has been decorated using components I had left over after making a card from Candle Duo Green Poinsettia 3D Scallop Wrap Card Kit by Ann-marie Vaux.

Scarf 01 01

This scarf is being knitted from a mohair yarn that has a fine fleck of silver running through it.  All this piece has come out from the one ball of yarn, with what’s stuck on the end of the knitting board still left to knit.
