The first couple of cards I’ve made using design sheets from craftsUprint. You’ll notice that I’ve put pictures of both inside and outside of the second one.
- Here comes santa step by step by Sally McIntyre (There was a bit of intricate cutting out around the different layers of this decoupaged Santa on a rooftop, but I didn’t actually use every one of the layers on this card to limit the amount of cutting I had to do. That’s the good thing about decoupage, you can layer up as many or as few layers as you want, so don’t think that you have to use every layer provided just because they are there.)
- Prayer Card Front-Topper 3 by Anna Babajanyan (This was a simple, straight cut, topper that I’d printed out around half size and used stuck in the inside back of a gate-fold card made of mirror card. I then simply wrapped a sheet of vellum that came printed with a gold pattern around the outside and used some ribbon as decoration. A quick and simple card to make, but very effective.)
This second batch of cards are all ones made using die-cut sheets from Hunkydory. Most I’ve played around with layout and what cardstock I’ve used, so not all the base cards are made with Hunkydory cardstock.

Card Making Competition – Well, after a lot of thought, and looking again and again at the entries I managed to whittle my favourites list down to 5, so had to go back for another look and finally chose which one to give my vote to. Not going to say which one though. Nor am I going to say which card is my entry – not until after the closing of voting. Those of you who are eligible to vote (CUP Designers and Registered Crafters) – please go to the competition gallery – here – have a good look and place your vote for the card you think is the best.
