Just A Short Blog Post

Went back to doing a bit of the tidying up I started ages ago this week, so don’t have much to show. Have put together some treat boxes in the shape of crackers though. A Card and Crackers:

  1. This is a “Brysiwch Wella” (Welsh for Get Well Soon) card I made only using die-cut elements and peel-offs to make the decoration, stuck to a base card I made from Centura Pearl Snow White card.
  2. Holly and Swirls Cracker Shaped Treat or Favour Box by Carol Clarke (I printed a batch of 10 of these off.  Used my Hoogie Board to score along the indicated lines and then cut them all out.  As the scoring was in place to fold through the middle of the “Remove” diamonds it was easy enough to snip out the folded over card to get the shape out.  The only fiddly thing to do was to cut out the holly embellishments.  If I was doing any more I wouldn’t bother but would rather use holly shapes cut out with my CraftROBO or die cut holly shapes.  Gold glitter spray was used on most of the shapes before sticking together.  The one in the front has been left without tying to show that they can be stored flat if you want to make them up ahead of Christmas – I know some of you will be starting on next year’s Christmas makes early in the new year!)
  3. Holly and Swirls Cracker Shaped Treat or Favour Box by Carol Clarke (This is another of the batch of 10, made exactly the same way but without the holly on.  This shows that these Cracker Shaped Boxes could be used for occasions other than Christmas if you wanted.)
