I’ve caught one of those nasty viruses off the little nephews, on top of having a repeat infection in my damaged leg, and therefore having to go back on antibiotics, so I’ve not felt like doing a lot of crafting over the weekend. So the only thing I’ve got to show you today are three gift baskets that I made, (using four different Designer Resources bought from CUP), to give some chocolates in as Easter Gifts.
(If you click on the thumbnail images you can have a look at a larger image of each item.)
(Clicking on the text links below each set of images takes you to the pages where you can see some of what I used to make the cards. Where these linked pages are on the CUP site you will usually find a longer description of how I made the item at the bottom of the page.)
- I used several Designer Resources to make these baskets – 3 x basket templates from Set of 3 gift basket templates by Jackie Mitchell; 3 x backgrounds from 12 sheets of A4 Background Papers yellows by Jacqueline Hatton; 2 x embellishments from Pretty Gems – Embellishments by Sheila Rodgers; 2 x flowers, recoloured, from 12 pack of Fabric Flowers by Jackie Mitchell (I took these designer resources into one of my graphics programs and create three A4 sheets, one for each gift basket, putting a template onto a background, putting one embellishment on each end of the handles and another on back and front of basket. I also recoloured the two flower layers to a deep yellow/apricot. The pages were printed out onto Super Smooth white cardstock, cut out, scored on my Hougie Board, and stuck together using Template Tape. The flowers were then shaped, two layers attached with brads, and then stuck onto one of the baskets using Glue Gel.)
- This is one of the baskets from the batch of three showed in the previous picture.
