Thank you for visiting my blog. I don’t have as much of an assortment as last time to show you but please feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of this post.

Unfortunately I’ve caught another cold/flu. It feels like flu, but with me and all my aches and pains on a day to day basis, a cold on top leaves me feeling very ill, there was even one day this week when I didn’t have my laptop on at all, not even on a lap-tray in bed. I’ve even lost my voice now, but at least I don’t need to speak to type something in my blog. Needless to say I haven’t been doing much crafting. The only thing I’ve done is put together some die-cut, fancy shaped, cards and boxes.
.
CARDS AND BOXES:
(If you click on the thumbnail images you can have a look at a larger image of each item.)
(Clicking on the text links below each set of images takes you to the pages where you can see some of what I used to make the cards. Where these linked pages are on the CUP site you will usually find a longer description of how I made the item at the bottom of the page.)
All the following items were made from the “A Winter’s Tale Papercrafting Kit” part of the “Beatrix Potter Complete Papercrafting Kit“. These were simply a case of popping out the pieces and putting them together in the right format.
.
Four Boxes:
Four Framed Decoupage Cards:
Four Tree 3D Cards:
I’ve still got some toppers and cardstock from this part of the kit left to work with, but they require a bit more thinking and creativity than I’ve got at the moment. I’m sure you’ll be seeing what I make with the rest of the kit before long once I’m feeling better.

CUP UPDATE:

- Friday, 28th September – here.
I hope you’ve got time to pop over for a look at these, if only for some inspiration, even if you are not looking for digital downloads at the moment. But if you are looking for digital downloads, be this for paper-crafting or knitting, cross-stitch, etc., then there’s a 20% discount code in the last of these mailers, and 20% off is not something you get often. And don’t forget that if you spend £10 you also get a free CD-ROM posted out to you with some other little free items.
September Card Making Competition – Voting is now open for the craftsUprint September card making competition on the theme of Birthday Teenager. You can see the 45 entries that have been entered by clicking – here. If you are eligible to vote then please take a good look at all the entries, and make up your own mind who’s made the best card for a teenager before placing your 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2, vote points. And yes, I have got an entry in this month, but I’m not telling you which one, so you’ll just have to go and have a look at all the entries and make a guess, and come back to my blog the beginning of next month when I’ll put photos of my entry up here for you to see.

(Hi All – You should find a box below where you can leave a comment if you feel like it, but due to the fact that Ive had some problems with Spam/advertising posts, that are absolutely nothing to do with the content of my blog, I now moderate all comments before they go live. Genuine comments will go live when Ive checked through the list – usually a couple of times a day.)

Hi Gwyneth, so sorry to hear that you are unwell again. It’s good to see that you have managed a little crafting. I find that it lifts me when i am feeling down to be creative.
