Diolch a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda – Thank You and a Happy New Year

Diolch – Thank  you

Thank You to all of you who’ve visited my blog, either regularly or occasionally, during the last year.  And a BIG Thank You to all of you who’ve taken the time to leave comments on my blog posts at any time during 2013.  I really do appreciate you taking the time to both visit, read and comment on my posts.  I hope you’ll continue to call around during 2014.

Blwyddyn Newydd Dda – Happy New Year

BlwyddynNewyddDda2014

I wish you all a very Happy New Year, and that 2014 will be the best year ever for you.

I wish you health, wealth and happyness.

And, of course, I wish you lots of crafting goodies and plenty of time to use them.

I’ve been on craftsUprint and Dragons Lair Designs online shops during the last couple of days and spent a bit of money, so I’ve now got a number of digital downloads of various sorts to print out and craft with during the next couple of weeks.  Keep an eye out for what I’ll make appearing in future blog posts.

MUSINGS:

With the start of a new year of course my thoughts have turned towards New Year’s Resolutions.  I don’t tend to make a lot of resolutions, especially not the kind that are guaranteed to be broken before the end of the first month of the year.  But I do try and make some crafting resolutions.

I’ve seen some people say that they are making a resolution not to buy any more crafting stash until they’ve used up what they’ve got – well there’s no chance of me making that resolution!  But I have made the resolution to incorporate bits of crafting stash that came to light in my tidy up during last autumn in my crafting this year, in between using new stuff, and to use up some of the shaped base cards that I’ve found hidden that I bought ages ago becore I started getting into scoreing and making my own base cards.  It will be interesting to incorporate older stuff with the newer stuff to give both a different look.

My resolution for 2013 was to make a variety of card types so that I had ones suitable for males and children, not just pretty, feminine ones, as well as different occasions cards and creations.  I think I’ve been quite successful at this resolution and will be keeping it on for 2014.

I’m also well over three quarters of the way towards being a “Platinum Crafter” on craftsUprint (you can see the collection of photos of crafted items I’ve already uploaded to the site -> Here!) so my third crafting resolution for this year is to steadily work my way up to the magic 2,000 figure before the end of the year.  This isn’t a “quick to achieve” project, but rather a long term goal provided my health doesn’t deteriorate further.

So, what sort of resolutions are you, my blog readers, making this year?
