A Couple Of My Samples Are On The Dragons Lair Designs Launch Post For The New “Oh Baby Mine” Collection

Dragons Lair Designs” is launching a new collection called “Oh Baby Mine” in the store today and I got my hands on the digital downloads to have a play ahead of time.

The collection has a range of colours from Pink to Blue, but also other colours that can be used for baby creations when you don’t know whether it’s going to be a baby girl or boy.

But I decided to make a few creations using the paler backgrounds from a collection in a way that has nothing to do with babies.

Other Design Team members have created very different items, so please do pop over to the Dragons Lair Designs Inspiration Blog to have a look at what they’ve made as well.

Just one soft, subtle, background printed onto 300gsm cardstock and used to make a side stepper card.  Decorated with some white die-cuts made using Tattered Lace dies with the simple addition of three flowers and a greetings banner.

For this card I printed out two different soft backgrounds from the kit onto 300gsm Super Smooth white cardstock.  One was used to cut out the central stepper base card and the other was used to cut out mats to go on the card.  Some of the mats were then put through the cutting and embossing machine again in a textured embossing folder.  The coloured in image is of “Bobby” with a trophy, which is a Dragons Lair Designs digi-stamp.  I used ProMarkers to colour the digi-stamp.  I finished off with a “Llongyfarchiadau” die-cut greeting, cut using a Tattered Lace Welsh greeting die.  “Llongyfarchiadau” is Welsh for “Congratulations”.

So you see that this collection provides items that can form a staple part of everyday crafting.
