An Update, A Few Musings, And Some Cards
-oOo-
Well everybody – I’m still going on with my sortout of photos of the crafting I did during the last year or so. This time I’m going to show you photos of a couple of congratulations cards I made to send to family friends who’d passed exams.
.
MUSINGS:
Simply – where have the years gone?! It feels like only a year or two since I remember the two I made these cards for as babies, yet it must be far more years than that. Time is a very odd thing – some things feel like it was only a short while ago that something from long ago happened, and other times it seems like happenings were a long time ago when they only happend a short while ago.
.
CARDS:
This first card was for a young man who’d passed some GCSE exams. I was obviously going for a more masculine look. Do you think I got the look right?
This 2nd card was for a young lady who’d passed her A levels and was off to uni. I used a variety of Tattered Lace dies to make this. The flowers were tri dies but I’m afraid I can’t remember which ones. The card itself was a tattered lace book card set of dies, and I think the bookmarks I’d included were from the same set. I also decorated a box to put this particular card in as it was too deep and big for an envelope.
In case it isn’t obvious – Llongyfarchiadau is Welsh for Congratulations.

(Thank you for reading this blog post. I hope you like what you’ve seen and read – You should find a box below where you can leave a comment if you feel like it – but due to the fact that, like many I’m sure, I’ve had some problems with Spam/advertising posts that are absolutely nothing to do with the content of my blog, I now moderate all comments before they go live. Genuine comments will go live when I’ve checked through the list – usually a couple of times a day.) (Thank you to every body who’s left comments on my previous blog posts. I really do appreciate them all.)
If you can’t see the comment box then there should be a link that says “Responses” and clicking on that will bring up the box
