Some Coasters and Decorated Boxes to Hold Them

-oOo-

I’m still going through some old photos of crafting, and live, that I took but failed to sort when my health was even worse than it is now.  I’ve now come to some coasters and the boxes I put them in the Christmas before last (Christmas 2014).  I had blogged one set back back in November 2014 – here – but that’s the only coasters set that came up when I searched my blog, so I’m pretty certain that the rest of them were never put online.  Hope you like them.

.

COASTERS AND BOXES:

All the boxes started off looking like this:

Francheska 08As they came with chocolate coated ginger in them, or some might have had a slightly different image stickered on top as they might have had Turkish Delight in them.  Kept from previous Christmas gifts – I’ve got a plastic crate of different boxes I’ve kept and these are the best because they are wooden boxes.

The costers are plastic blank coasters bought off eBay.

For each set I took items from the collection used into My Craft Studio Elite and, having measured the space I had to work with on the box and in the coaster recess, I built up the design layout I wanted.  Everything was then printed out on 250gsm Super Smooth white cardstock before I cut and began sticking on the boxes and inserting into the coasters before clicking the backs into place.

I hope you like what you’ve seen and read – You should find a box below where you can leave a comment if you feel like it but due to the fact that, like many I’m sure, I’ve had some problems with Spam/advertising posts that are absolutely nothing to do with the content of my blog, I now moderate all comments before they go live. Genuine comments will go live when I’ve checked through the list – usually a couple of times a day.) (Thank you to every body who’s left comments on my previous blog posts. I really do appreciate them all.)
If you can’t see the comment box then there should be a link that says “Responses” and clicking on that will bring up the box
