A Screen Printed Card
The card I’ve got to show you today is one I made using the screen printed image of a fox that I showed you previously, in this post – here.
It was printed using inks from my mixed, left over, pot of colours and added bronze, or was that copper?
I thought I’d make this one more masculine, so lots of leaves but no flowers, and some wood patterened backing paper.
I die cut the image out using the larger die from a Duo Dies set, making one ear and part of the tail ‘out of the box’.
The wood patterned background was cut out with one of my Hunkydory nesting oval dies. I put the image onto the wood mat using 3mm deep foam tape.
The base card is 8″ square Creative Crafting World, with one of their inserts inside – I’ll put a panel with a new greeting over the printed one as it’s a Welsh card.
The first mat is 19cm square of Hunkydory Adorable Scorable black card, and the next layer is 18cm square of 200gsm cardstock printed with a blue background from this kit – here.
I used fingerlift tape to attach the mats to the card front and wet glue to attach the matted topper on top.
Then out came my bag of leaves and flowers I had left over from my previous two projects to make plaques. You can see the dies I used and more info – here.
But as I said earlier, I only wanted leaves, not flowers, so I did a bit of sorting out to choose what I wanted before sticking the leaves in place using a wet, everyday, glue.
I had shaped one ear slightly up and the tail slightly down before sticking the topper on the wooden look layer for dimension.
Now I need to sort out some more catchup posts to publish, and also decide whether I’m next going to work on some of my PHD, or start one of the projects I’ve got planned in my head and already bought the items needed.

(Thank you for reading this blog post. I hope you like what you’ve seen and read – You should find a box below where you can leave a comment if you feel like it – but due to the fact that, like many I’m sure, I’ve had some problems with Spam/advertising posts that are absolutely nothing to do with the content of my blog, I now moderate all comments before they go live. Genuine comments will go live when I’ve checked through the list – usually a couple of times a day.) (Thank you to every body who’s left comments on my previous blog posts. I really do appreciate them all.)
If you can’t see the comment box then there should be a link that says “Responses” and clicking on that will bring up the box
