Crochet – Baby Blanket
When I re-started blogging a few days ago I said that, although I had been crafting a bit over the last 15 months or so, I hadn’t had the time or the energy to photograph and blog about the creations.
On looking through the posts on my blog I came across a small number that were marked as “Draft” and appear to have never been completed or published. Today’s “catchup” post is one of those.
Something tells me that this was made to give as a prize in a charity rafle, but I just can’t remember the details of where it went over a year later. I may have even blogged it at the time and juzt somehow got a draft copy left in the posts list.
I’ve bought a lot of different yarns over the years. Quite a bit in job lots with a few balls of yarn of each type or a particular colour. Of course, as I just can’t do a lot in one go because of aches and pains, etc., these days, I prefer to work on small projects, so small amounts of any particular yarn colour/type suits me.
Today’s make is made with Grundl Lisa Print yarn and is a baby blanket of around 2 foot square, which is nice for a baby carry cot or to put over a baby in a car seat.
Here’s the yarn band details –
And here’s the crocheted baby blanket, firstly folded and then draped over a chair, and finaly a closeup of the stitch I used – which is a treble made as a large granny square.

(Thank you for reading this blog post. I hope you like what you’ve seen and read – You should find a box below where you can leave a comment if you feel like it – but due to the fact that, like many I’m sure, I’ve had some problems with Spam/advertising posts that are absolutely nothing to do with the content of my blog, I now moderate all comments before they go live. Genuine comments will go live when I’ve checked through the list – usually a couple of times a day.) (Thank you to every body who’s left comments on my previous blog posts. I really do appreciate them all.)
If you can’t see the comment box then there should be a link that says “Responses” and clicking on that will bring up the box
