Catchup Post 2 – An Owl Card

Thank you for clicking over to have a look at my blog.

This is another catchup post – another card I created so long ago I can’t remember the details – but I had got this post more or less finished with details already writen and saved under Drafts, so thought I should just go ahead and post.

PP card06 02

CloseupPP card06 03

  • Items from Pollyanna Pickering kit
  • 7″ square card made from Kraft Card
  • Fingerlift tape
  • Wet glue
  • Bit from Hunkydory Shadowbox kit
  • Tree trunk background from a Craftwork Cards kit
  • Plain paper insert.

  • Scissors

Having used the shadowbox for a previous project I had the inside of the frame where I’d removed the foiled greetings tags, left over. So I decided to use this as a mat on a card.  I cut some background from the Pollyanna Pickering collection to be a little smaller than the foiled border of the left-over piece and stuck this in place.  I trimmed and layered the sheet of pale tree trunks at an angle behind my chosen topper sheet.

I then simply stuck the larger matting and layering onto my chosen card front, attached the angled topper and mat on top, and put in an insert.  I’ll add a greeting once I know who will receive the card and for what occasion.
