A Mother’s Day Card
Now that Mother’s Day is past I can show you the card I made last week to give to my mother yesterday.
It’s very blue, but blue is my mother’s favourite colour.
The topper, that I’ve coloured in using various markers from my collection, comes from the colouring book of postcards from Create & Craft that they were selling in aid of the charity Mind.
I’d done the colouring some time ago, but unfortunately I’ve somehow managed to loose the scrap of paper I put with it that listed the colours I used.
The flowers for this card came from my endless stash of crafting goodies – something tells me that sheets of die cut flowers used were from My Paper Stash, but we’re talking using up some stuff I’ve had for a long time (and I’ve not made a dent in the stash yet – though I am now pulling some things out to donate to the local primary school. Mostly partly used sheets of toppers, cardstock, backing papers, etc. I don’t like throwing such things out but am unlikely to use them up myself as I’ve now got several boxes of such things in addition to a collection of flowers, mats, etc., that I’ve already made from stuff in my bits boxes ready for projects.)

You can see the cards I’ve made using design sheets from CUP in my “Crafter Showcase Area” on Craftsuprint.com – here
(Just scroll down past the top boxes to see the cards.)
(Thank you for reading this blog post. I hope you like what you’ve seen and read – You should find a box below where you can leave a comment if you feel like it – but due to the fact that, like many I’m sure, I’ve had some problems with Spam/advertising posts that are absolutely nothing to do with the content of my blog, I now moderate all comments before they go live. Genuine comments will go live when I’ve checked through the list – usually a couple of times a day.) (Thank you to every body who’s left comments on my previous blog posts. I really do appreciate them all.)
If you can’t see the comment box then there should be a link that says “Responses” and clicking on that will bring up the box
