Catchup Post 6 – A Pack Of Cards

Thank you for clicking over to have a look at my blog
Pack Of Cards

Time for a catchup to show you some more things I’ve made a while ago but hadn’t photographed and blogged.

Last Christmas I did make a lot of cards to send out to friends and family, as well as for two small orders I had. Most were made using Hunkydory kits to make it easier for me to batch make, even in bed, as well as some recycling of old cards. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of any of them.

As I wasn’t up to doing a lot of crafting hand made gifts I decided to make up small packs of cards as gifts as well.  Unfortunately I didn’t get enough done by Christmas, but did get them done by New Year to give as “calenig” (new year gift, usually money, but I sometimes give something else).  Those I made them for, that I saw over New Year, were given theirs, but there were two people, that I had planned to see the first Sunday of the year, who never got theirs because, if you’ve read one of my previous post – here – you will know I landed up in the Bristol Eye Hospital before then for an emergency eye opp.

Of course, the days and weeks following the opp I couldn’t drive and somehow the two undelivered packs got shifted and I forgot about them – until I found them last week while looking for something else.  I then decided that I might as well take some some quick photographs of them before getting them delivered to the recipients.

So, what I’ve got to show you today are the cards from one pack. Sorry the photos are not fantastic, but I had to take them at a slight angle because of light flare, probably because of taking them seated by the kitchen table under the room light, rather that in my usual spot.

The same card at an angle to try and show dimension.

As I don’t know whether the friend who’s going to receive this assorted pack will want to send them out in Welsh or English I’ve not put greetings on either inside or out. But I have included a pack of greetings in both language, most with some double sided tape already added.

Keep an eye out for a post showing the cards in the other undelivered pack before long.
