Crochet Blankets Completed

Thank you for clicking over to have a look at my blog
A Pair Of Crochet Blankets

At some point in April I did a post where I showed you what I was using to make a pair of crochet blankets, and said that I’d finished one – other than sewing the ends in.  You can see the post – here – if you haven’t seen it previously.

Well I’ve now finished off the ends on the first one and crocheted the second one.   I used six 200g balls of the yarn I showed you per blanket, so they are not a cheap make. But I think that they look quite nice and will be lovely and warm on the beds in the spare room.

This is the one I showed you before, but this time on the bottom bed of the new bunk beds we’ve bought for the, very small, spare room.

And this is the second one I’ve just completed hanging off the side of the top bunk with some pillows stopping it from sliding.

Not much difference to look at from the first LOL.

And this is how it looks like on the top bunk.

Here you can see both blankets in place.

So, that’s this particular blankets project completed.  I do need to get on and do more of the patchwork quilts that are to go on the beds on top of them, so expect another post on the progress of those before long. Plus I have several UFO crochet projects I now need to pull out of hiding and see which one I’ll tackle completing next.

Genuine comments will go live when I’ve checked through the list – usually a couple of times a day.) (Thank you to every body who’s left comments on my previous blog posts. I really do appreciate them all.)
