Some Screen Printed Clothing
-oOo-
When I showed you a week ago how I’d turned a pyjama set I’d got on a sale into a pair of shorts and a decorated top, I said that I’d printed a few other items while I had my Screen Sensation screen printing equipment and consumables out.
The items I’ve got to show you today are around half the items I printed on that morning.
The first item I printed onto was a simple dress. I used the Stand Tall screen and copper ink.
I did mask off the wording as I just wanted the image. Here’s a closeup of it.
I then used exactly the same screen and ink on two bags.
One a natural cotton colour.
And one which was black.
All photos were taken in the same location but somehow the colour appears different on each item.
I then took my Cheeky Monkey screen, and once again masked off the wording. I selected the Blue Black coloured ink this time.
The first garment I printed onto was a baggy top for me.
Here’s a closeup of it.
I then took a T-shirt that’s the right size for my youngest nephews.
Different textured material this time.
And the third print before I put the spare ink back into the pot and the screen to wash was onto another bag.
After everything had dried I ironed them to heat set the ink.
(I should have photographed everything straight after ironing, rather than putting everything I worked on that morning jnto a clothes basket and coming back later to pop them on a hanger and photograph, as it got wrinkled before I photographed.)
.
I still have a few more bits I’ve Screen Sensation printed on, so please do pop back to have a look at them in about a week once I get the post sorted..

(Thank you for reading this blog post. I hope you like what you’ve seen and read – You should find a box below where you can leave a comment if you feel like it – but due to the fact that, like many I’m sure, I’ve had some problems with Spam/advertising posts that are absolutely nothing to do with the content of my blog, I now moderate all comments before they go live. Genuine comments will go live when I’ve checked through the list – usually a couple of times a day.) (Thank you to every body who’s left comments on my previous blog posts. I really do appreciate them all.)
If you can’t see the comment box then there should be a link that says “Responses” and clicking on that will bring up the box
