7th Batch Of Christmas Cards 2019 – Guilded Images

Another Batch Of Christmas Cards

Hi and welcome to my blog (or welcome back if you’ve visited before).

Today my makes feature a few of the Chocolate Baroque Cristmas stamps I was tempted by a few weeks ago.

If you like Chocolate Baroque stamps, or stamping and mixed media in general, you may like to note in your diaries that Lesley from Chocolate Baroque will be doing her next Craftalon on Hochanda on 17th November. You can find details of the kit available for the craftalong – here!

I went for glue and guilding flakes again this time, like the ones I showed you in a previous post – here!

What I Did

I chose three of the stamps from the Chocolate Baroque collection I’d bought and stamped them several times onto stamping card using FliterGlu.

I then put on guilding flakes, rubbed it on and rubbed it off.

Some of the images I fully coloured, some partialy coloured, and some didn’t colour at all.

I cut them out in different ways.  Some as rectangular panels, some directly round the picture and one angel leaving a round around the head area but cutting directly to the line around the bottom.

After this I scored and folded cardstock to make the base card as well cutting out an assortment of matting and layering pieces.

Everything was put together using fingerlift tape as I wanted to make a pack of flat cards for easy posting.

I finished off by sticking in the insert and putting on the “Nadolig Llawen” (Welsh for Happy Christmas) peeloff greeting.

What I Used
The Finished Cards

Pack of 6 cards.

I have several bits of different crafting on the go at the moment, so keep an eye out for them over the next few weeks.
