Another Two Welsh Birthday Cards
Hi and welcome to my blog (or welcome back if you’ve visited before). Thank you vor coming to have a look at this post on my blog.
I’ve said before about having 4 family birthday’s in February. Well today I have the cards I made for Mam and myself to give another family member.
With my health not being at it’s usual level (read the saga in my last post if you want to know more), I again kept it simple. Plus the recipient doesn’t like fussy and highly embelished.
What I Did
For this pair of cards I decided to go bright, and therefore picked two tropical themed images, one a bright parrot and one an under a tropical sea.
For one I matted it onto yellow cardstock and used a red spotted cardstock to make some little banner strip details to go on the side and for the other I matted onto red spotted cardstock and put a ribbon of the yellow cardstock accross the card before sticking down the matted image.
I then finished off with a peeloff greeting on the outside and on the insert inside.
What I Used
- 1 x Adorable Scoreable Cardstock in pale yellow
- 2 x A5 Base Cards
- 1 x Sheet of Spot foiled red cardstock
- Fingerlift Tape
- 2 Sheets A4 100gsm Paper for inserts
- 2 topper sheets from a Hunkydory Little Book Of …
- Paper Cutter
- Peeloff Greetings
Two Finished Cards
It’s nearly time when I can show you more ornate cards I made for some orders which the people who asked for them have received but haven’t gone to the actual people cellebrating important events in their lives yet, as well as one semi ornate I made for Mam and I to give, so keep an eye out over the next two weeks for those.
