3rd Wedding Card
Hi and welcome to my blog (or welcome back if you’ve visited before). Thank you for coming over to have a look at my crafting.
Today’s card is another I was asked to make by the boss of our carers.
What I Did
I started by using Brother Canvas to construct what I wanted to foil using my Scan’N’Cut. I used an .svg image of the giving of a ring and the wording “Ar Ddydd Eich Priodas” (Welsh for “On Your Wedding Day”) for the insert and joined rings and the greeting again in a ribbon format for the front. All of these were foiled using the foiling quill ont pearlescent paper and then cut to the required size.
I used my die-cutting machine to cut out a floral image and matching mats and layers from the Kanban Love and Lace Square collection.
I did use a pre-foiled base card for this card and built up the layers and embelishments, using flat tape for some layers and foam tape for a little dimention for other layers. I stuck the “paper ribbon” greetings to the front at either end leaving a slight raise in the middle.
