Welsh Birthday Cards

Thank you for coming over to have a look at my blog

Cardiau Penblwydd Cymraeg~Welsh Birthday Cards

Hi and welcome to my blog (or welcome back if you’ve visited before).

Just a catch up post to show a couple of cards I made before my medical emergency that I hadn’t blogged.

The end of June it was my brother’s birthday.  This meant I needed to make two cards – one from my mother and one from myself.

I returned to the Hunkydory kit of African animal silhouettes (the same ones I used to make the batches of cards to give to friends and family at the start of lockdown which you can see here if you haven’t seen them previously).

What I Did

For the first card I used one of the black silhouette foiled acetates from the collection, scored it and wrapped it around a card that I’d put on some of the background from the kit onto.  I finished it off with Penblwydd Hapus peeloff.

The second card was made using some bits cut off when I made the big batch of cards and a topper.

The Finished Cards

1st Card

2nd Card

.

I have several bits of different crafting on the go at the moment, so keep an eye out for them over the next few weeks.
