Thank you for coming over to have a look at my blog
A Birthday Card For My Aunt
I showed you the gift and the card I made for my mother’s birthday in my last couple of posts. Well, one of my aunts has her birthday the day following my mother, so I needed to make a card for her as well.
I had the same problem of agony in my arm and shoulder makeing crafting very, very, difficult, so again I chose to make a simple card for her.
Today I have the very simple card I made her to show you.
I chose a brightly coloured image from a Hunkydory Little Book, matted it onto blue cardstock, stuck it to the front of a pre cut and scored base card and added a foiled banner greeting that said “Penblwydd Hapus”. I finished off with an insert that said the same.
I tried to take photos from several slightly different angles to see if I could catch the foiled greeting and show off the colours at their best. Not my best photos ever, but I think you can see that the card depicts an under the sea scene.
Now that I’ve been prescribed stronger pain killers, I am going to try and catch up a bit on blogging what I’ve already made, so keep an eye out for them over the next few weeks. Then I’ll try and get back on track makeing my Christmas cards.
