2 More Birthday Cards

Birthday Cards For Another Of My Nephews

Hi and welcome to my blog (or welcome back if you’ve visited before).

I’ve already shown you the first 2 cards I made for family members who have their birthday this month.  Today I have 2 more cards for another family member to show you.

What I Did

I chose pictures I thought the recipient would like.  For one card I chose 2 pictures and cut out a bird on a branch from one to layer onto the other image of a birdbox.

Both images were matted and layered onto a piece of different coloured Adorable Scoreable cardstock.

I scored and folded one sheet of cardstock to make a base card and used another pre-scored, scalloped edge, card.  I found some paper from my stash to use as a background for the smaller image.

I used fingerlift tape to mat the image and then 1mm deep foam tape to stick the matted image onto the card front.  On one card I added border peel-offs before sticking in an insert and putting a greeting on both the front and inside.

I’ve got more cards, both birthday and sympathy to upload their photos to this blog and write about, so they should be published before long – hopefully!
