Thank you for coming over to have a look at my blog
Birthday Cards For Yet Another Of My Nephews
In my first post of February I mentioned that several family members had their birthdays during that month so I’d have to make a card each from Mam and myself for each of them.
None of them like fussy or fancy, so I’ve kept the cards I’ve made already quite simple, concentrating on rural to suit the recipients.
What I Did
I started by scoreing snd folding white cardstock to make 2 A5 base cards. Into these I stuck inserts.
I looked through a pack of topper images with my mother and we chose a couple we thought would be suitable for the recipient.
For the first card I stuck the topper to the mat using fingerlift tape, and then the matted topper to the base card using 2mm deep foam tape.
For the second card I stuck the topper to the mat using 2mm deep foam tape, and then the matted topper to the bae card using fingerlift tape.
I finished off by adding greetings both inside and out.
What I Used
- A4 350gsm White Cardstock
- 120gsm White Paper for Inserts
- Matting snd Layering Cardstock and Patterned Paper from my stash
- Paper Trimmer
- Paper Dienamics A4 Spring Moments Rectangle Topper Set – 32 Sheets, 170GSM
- Fingerlift Tape
- 2mm Deep, Double Sided, Foam Tape
- Greetings Peeloffs
