2021 Calendar – 07 – Gorffennaf

July Calendar Page

Thank You! to all who are visiting my blog, whether for the first time or return visitors

Time to show you what I’ve put on my mother’s July calendar page.  If you missed seeing the previous pages you can see : January – Here! February – Here! March – Here! April – Here! May – Here! June – Here !

If you’ve seen any of my previous posts about the calendar I’ve been decorating for my mother month by month you will know that I ask her what she would like next.  However, this month I went with my choice.  I saw a photo that reminded me of a story Mam had told me of her loving to play with the working horse they had when she was very young.  She said she was tiny at the time and could walk underneath the horse’s belly – which made her family very worried, but the horse never once attempted to kick her.

What I Did

For this panel I kept it completely flat.  I took an A4 sheet of white cardstock and stuck on two pieces of different coloured background cardstock with fingerlift tape.  I then chose a wood effect print and stuck it on at an angle towards one side and my chosen topper at an angle towards the other side.

The finished piece was stuck up on the calendar with fingerlift tape.

I printed out the month in Welsh and used fingerlift tape again to stick this on.

The Finished Page

This is the panel ready to stick on the calendar.

With the month title

I’ll be back with next month’s calendar page the begining of next month, but I’m concentrating on gardening at the moment so there may be more crafting before then, but there may not.

Have a great month everybody.
