A Welsh “Get Well Soon” Card
Cerdyn “Brysiwch Wella”

We heard that the lady who owns the care company that all our carers come from is not well and has spent a night in hospital.  Of course the first thought Mam and I had was that we had to send her a “Get Well Soon”, which is “Brysiwch Wella” in Welsh, card.

So out came some of my older Hunkydory kits and I found a base card and a cute little topper of a hedgehog in bed with a teddy looking after it.

So I grabbed some foam tape and I put this card together – this is one Hunkydory card I put together more or less as intended, except that I added a Welsh, peeloff, greeting both outside and inside and didn’t use any of the supplied greetings.

I hope she likes it.  Gave it to one of the carers to take into the office so that it can be passed along to her.

Here are some closeup photos of the topper so that you can see the dimension.  I used the 2mm deep foam tape for all the layers.

.

I’m working on some cards for an order now, as well as birthday cards for the family.  So hopefully I’ll be makeing several posts over the next few weeks to show y ou what I come up with.
