Thank you for coming over to have a look at my blog

Crochet – Fingerless Gloves and a Muff

Hi and welcome to my blog (or welcome back if you’ve visited before).

I’m trying to catch up with posting to my blog some time after I’ve made some of the crafted items, so my descriptions of what I did and what I used are a bit lacking this time, and probably will be for the next few posts as well.

My hands have been very cold at night when watching TV or using my tablet, so I used thick wool and crocheted myself a pair of fingerless gloves to ware when using my tablet and a muff, with a material outside layer, for using when I’m just watching TV.

They are nothing special, but do the job.

What I Used

I used leftover yarn from when I did a blanket for myself a while ago for the gloves, and a colour changeing, very thick yarn for the muffs.  The material I used were two bits left from when I shortened some culotts for myself a while ago.

Fingerless Gloves

And me wareing one

Inside tube of muff – I decreased at either end to make it a snugger fit around the wrists.

A crocheted strap to go with it

The inside tube inside the material outer, with strap sewn in

The pocket for my phone looks very wonky in this photo – think the whole thing was pulled at an angle because it isn’t that far off in reality.

I have several bits of different crafting on the go at the moment, so keep an eye out for them over the next few weeks.
